Boot, there was no graphical interface
Boot, there was no graphical interface
After turning off the computer at boot, there was no graphical interface, but I saw a command line. I saw different commands for Linux to activate GUI. Which of them are tested and successfully run the graphical interface in AntiX?
Re: Boot, there was no graphical interface
Most of those should work, but we need information.
Are you trying to boot a Live session, or an installed version?
What model and date of computer are you using?

Re: Boot, there was no graphical interface
Sorry, but I don't understand what you are trying to say. Do you mean you shutdown the computer after an install? Then on boot you only have a command line interface?
Did you get to a grub menu?
Please tell us exactly what you see and when.

Re: Boot, there was no graphical interface
I have a Dell D630 and the same thin occurred on it. I
1) logged in as Root
2) RAN THE SMXI SCRIPT and continued until menu said "continue to Graphics'
3) Installed the nouveau driver
4) Started the Desktop
-- no problem!
HINT: It's the nVidia GPU stock with these Dells
