Re: Where is OpenSnitch?
I see it is indeed in the Stable repo. Perhaps you need to refresh your repos or change to another repo?
Re: Where is OpenSnitch?
MX-21 OpenSnitch 1.3.6 is in the Stable Repository (and not the Test Repo)
MX-19.4 OpenSnitch 1.3.6 is in the Test Repository (and not the Stable Repo)
So I guess everyone is correct since no one cited a release version number in their post...

Re: Where is OpenSnitch?
I have the same problem.
I can see opensnitch listed on stable repo, but it won't install. "unable to apply some actions, aborting" is error.
command line
$ sudo apt install opensnitch
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package opensnitch is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'opensnitch' has no installation candidate
I am new to MX Linux, so I maybe do not know something obvious.

Re: Where is OpenSnitch?
First, for new and semi-experienced MX users.... please post your Quick System Information when asking for help.
You can't expect people to provide help if you don't provide any real information.
Sorry, but its plastered all over the forums viewtopic.php?t=29042
The issues being brought up seem to be issues with the repository mirrors enabled on your system.
Try this:
- Make sure your system is up-to-date
- Double check that it can/cannot be found using MX Package Installer
- If it is there try and install it
IF that fails...
- Use MX Repo Manager to switch to the LA or Salt Lake repo
- Do the above again
IF that fails...
Post the following:
- FULL Quick System Information
- Console Output (last tab) in MX Package Installer
I packaged OpenSnitch, I know it is there, I know it installs, and I know it works. Even just doubled checked for the heck of it.
Edit for inability to type both fast and accurate

Re: Where is OpenSnitch?
To add: please start your own topic as well, because what works for someone on mx21 may not work for someone on mx19 and vice versa.

Re: Where is OpenSnitch?
As you preferred to disabled mx repository according to the other thread to solve a temporary repo issue ( viewtopic.php?p=664593#p664593 ) you won't see if you keep mx.list disabled.
