I would like to request that Frame3DD be looked at by the developers with a view to adding it to the repository.

Source Code can be downloaded from this location
https://sourceforge.net/projects/frame3 ... t/download
I feel it would prove extremely popular with MX members from the engineering community.
The developers of FreeCAD are looking for a way to integrate it into there workbenches it into their package.

Perhaps some sort of collaboration is possible?

To request new or updated software packages be added to the MX Repositories, please read these instructions first, then post your request in the appropriate Package Requests/Status subforum for your version of MX: 19, 17/18 or 15/16.
Please read the Forum Rules, How To Ask For Help, How to Break Your System and Don't Break Debian. Always include your full Quick System Info (QSI) with each and every new help request.

Re: Request for Frame3DD for Structural Engineering
I am struggling a bit with this JayM. I did read the instructions (checked the repositories including backports and altered the Post tite) but obviously I have reposted it in the wrong place. I will have another go.JayM wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 3:16 am To request new or updated software packages be added to the MX Repositories, please read these instructions first, then post your request in the appropriate Package Requests/Status subforum for your version of MX: 19, 17/18 or 15/16.

I know it's not that easy to figure out where to post package requests. I used to struggle with that too, when I was new here, so now I try to help others.
