Dutch translations

#1 Post by Eadwine Rose »

You guys likely already noticed they've been lacking. That is because I simply get overwhelmed, and I have weeks with reasonable and weeks with low energy due to my health. Basically means that I will be spending MUCH less time working on these than I would have liked to, as in pretty much none, but it is what it is.

Fortunately the Dutch for the most part are very fluent in English, so it shouldn't be too big a deal. I will do what I can for what I feel like doing (basically that is the norm here now) and the rest... well.. maybe someone else native-speaking will pop up (here's to hoping).

I guess I just wanted to let you know what's up, so you're not wondering why the heck I've been slacking lately. Thanks!

"Slacking" is not a word I associate with what I know of you. We are grateful for everything you do, and have done for a long time!

Can understand if you need a rest from the Dutch translation. That language is difficult! Tried to read some Tom Poes paperbacks in the original language. Will never do that again.

Aww thanks Jerry!

Henry, Tom Poes.. well those are not the easiest to start out with! Seems like for kids but is definitely more "adult" than that in its language use ;)

Yes, I found out. The Swedish translation also has a very advanced language. Got what I deserved, a headache.

Sorry to hear you are having difficulties but you are certainly not a slacker. I totally second everything Jerry said. Thank you so much for making things as easy as you have (especially for me) and providing excellent guidance! I hope things get to working out better for you soon.
