Agree with asqerth, we don't need one. A comment on earlier posts: Penguins do not live at the south pole. They need water to feed and thus are
found around the Antarctic edges. We have them here, little Blues nesting and living at 37 degrees south. Certainly not freesing.

Still something new from MX would be entertaining (with no news of MX21, need something to scratch the back over these days!).
Reminds me of patito-feo: "ugly" duckling! Even latest MX name is similar to that local language translation of the muskox...Its Woods Cree names "mâthi-môs" and "mâthi-mostos" translate to "ugly moose" and "ugly bison", respectively.

In the UK a "mascot" means a good luck charm. I don't think MX Linux really needs one of those.
