All,

We have a new line we need translations for in MX Tweak. A new resource file has been uploaded to Transifex.

Thank you all!

All,

Everything should be good to go now. I will monitor this thread tomorrow to see if anyone has any further issues.

From Wikipedia :
For device displays such as phones, tablets, monitors and televisions, the use of the word resolution as defined above is a misnomer, though common. The term display resolution is usually used to mean pixel dimensions, the number of pixels in each dimension (e.g. 1920 × 1080), which does not tell anything about the pixel density of the display on which the image is actually formed: resolution properly refers to the pixel density, the number of pixels per unit distance or area, not total number of pixels
I will choose Définition instead of Résolution in French translation.

The quoted Wikipedia text is probably correct to refer to pixel density of the display. OTOH, changing the pixel dimension for a given fixed screen size will change pixel density and by this the resolution for the given display dimension. Also note, the two other tools "Display" (Affichage) and Arandr for changing the pixel dimension do use the term "Résolution". So in this sense I suggest to stick with the same term "Résolution".

I will stick with resolution to ensure consistency but that's a misuse of language (the same for mass and weight by the way).

I would just use what people know. Even though it might not be correct, the other ways of describing just isn't clear enough anyway.
