Today's Foliate version, Foliate-1.5.2.
Also, since Waterfox 56.2.12 won't build on MX 17 /18 or 15/16, I've instead wrapped their appimage into a new waterfox-appimage package that will work on those releases.

libffmpegthumnailer built against the MX-17 Test repo's ffmpeg for Test, to fix SpaceFM.

SpaceFM in MX-17 main was uninstallable if ffmpeg had been upgraded from the Test repo because the libffmpegthumbnailer in stretch main was incompatible with the updated ffmpeg.

Trying to build the latest gimp-plugin-bimp 2.0 for MX 18 and 19.
Seems to be a success.

OK, now Free File Sync 10.14 for MX 17-19, from debianized source I found on the OBS.
Well, not with the gcc-6 in MX 17/18. I could try and build it with the gcc-8 in our experimental repo, but is anyone going to install it from experimental? The offending string is

Code: Select all

-std=c++2a
which the Google says is only supported by the most recent compilers. So only MX 19 packages for now.

Great, thanks! SpaceFM is indeed an interesting file manager. Greetings, Joe

I managed to use the openSUSE Build Service to backport MX 19 packages for openJDK-12 (Java 12) from Sid to Buster in the cloud, saving a lot of time and trouble for me if I built it on my own machine. It's now in the MX 19 test repo, though I don't know if I managed to edit the changes files correctly or if Tim had to force the files in there.

There's a Stretch update for openJDK-8 today, which Debian does not backport for Jessie, yet is our default for MX 15/16, so I'm going to try the same deal with that.

Glava, which puts audio visualizations on your wallpaper. It requires gcc-8, so has to go into the MX 17/18 experimental repo where our gcc-8 backport lives. Seems OK for MX 19 main, but needs some manual setup for both.

Mmikeinsantarosa, I am experiencing a problem with FF68.0.1 on MX18.2 (fully updated).
It does not offer to remember logins/passwords although it does seem to remember the login names.
Previous versions of FF worked OK, and this version shows several old saved passwords.
Is it just me?

BTW Opera still does the trick just like previous FF versions.
