How does that MATE respin work language-wise? Is there an English version, or does it offer a language choice at boot?

Very well ! You choose your language at boot and it goes like a charm.

I think you did your job excellent. I only wish you would state a md5sum or so by publishing the links to the iso, so we can check after download before burning or flashing.

I wish to know who is interested in the MATE respin and where to send a bug report? I have installed the new 18.3 respin and found mc in the menu. But by trying to run it, there is a message that xterm is needed. Okay, I can install it but it would be better when it would be in the image I think...

The iso is offered at https://faitfranco.wordpress.com/2019/0 ... 019-05-27/ so I don't know if the provider has a user account here and I don't speak italian. :-(

So I have to say regretfully that the situation for MATE users with MX Linux is not comparable with that of Ubuntu MATE (official Respin) or Manjaro (Community Respin) due to the low demand. Too bad.

It's all volunteer... So why don't you make an improved respin for the Community? MX Snapshot is easy to use ..
