I understand it better now. A compiled-in default is a default that can't be changed (as default) by the user because it's in the code. There is no direct translation to this construct into PT, however, neither does the concept mean much for a non technically knowledgeable user, so I think I'm going with Stevo's suggestion of using just "default value", since it's sufficiently clear and it's the simplest for any user to immediately getting the idea.
