Just one page opened a topic dedicated to voting for the favorite distribution, and it is a good way to position MX by making our votes there, so here I leave you in a link to vote.

This is an interesting idea.
Which will be more realistic --page hits or weekly votes.
Maybe they will offer a service of adding my vote weekly, automatically?

I wish they would have posted it in English. I voted for MX Linux.
I am command line illiterate. :confused: I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list. :mad:

They appear to have an interlock system to prevent multiple voting by one person. Wonder if it resets every week ?

@Gordon,
Wonder if it resets every week?
Surely not. Distrowatch doesn't.
So, the votes keep accumulating.
If one is still using and recommending MX, then go back weekly to add another vote.
It is another angle on page hits; perhaps more useful, but still easy to game the system.

Sounds very much like cheating to me. A memory of my brother many years ago with a couple of his mates, spending half an hour jumping on a traffic counter rubber tube stretched across the street at 2.30 am one Sunday morning.

Yep. Like Richard said, easy to game the system, no doubt. Like at DistroWatch, there's no way of telling how many people go there each day just to give their favorite distro a page hit, so the rankings are always suspect, IMO. And I find it interesting that at some distros' forums it seems like there's always somebody talking about where that distro stands in the page hit rankings; at other distros' forums, seems like the users couldn't care less about that sort of thing.
