Did you look in the Mate version repos or just Cinnamon? I only used Mint Mate.Stevo wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 5:08 pmI can't find Waterfox in the Mint repos, so I suspect they've just added the Waterfox one. http://packages.linuxmint.com/turtlebay777 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 4:46 pm I don't know my a** (er, donkey) from my elbow with programming but thanks guys (and/or girls) for your interest.
If you look in the repo settings in Mint's Synaptic, that might be evident.
Re: Request for Waterfox [SOLVED]
I used the search function in that link, which I believe covers all packages that Mint hosts in their own repos.
Since Mint installs inxi as default like MX, you could show us the result of "inxi -r" in your Mint for the list of repos it's using.

Re: Request for Waterfox [SOLVED]
Yup, right there at the top...it's the same Waterfox repo as the MX Package Installer is now adding, so they aren't building it, either.

hawkeye - wasn't he one of the doctors in M.A.S.H.!
Re: Request for Waterfox [SOLVED]
Thank you for putting Waterfox in the MX Package Installer. Unfortunately there is no information on how to import bookmarks. Does anyone know how to import all the bookmarks from Firefox to Waterfox?
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

Re: Request for Waterfox [SOLVED]
The long winded way is to open Firefox, go to Bookmarks/show all bookmarks/Import and Backup/Export bookmarks to HTML and save the file somewhere on your hard drive (I usually use desktop).
Then close Firefox and open Waterfox, then follow the same route except the last step which is obviously Import bookmarks from HTML and point to the file you saved on your desktop.
Takes much longer to type it than do it!

Re: Request for Waterfox [SOLVED]
in addition to the exported html-bookmarks, you can import the saved json-bookmarks too.
