I searched the forum but did not find anything relating to the topic. I have an HP Pavilion DV7 which my work accumulated and I installed MX17. It has a fingerprint reader/scanner on it and I was wondering if anyone he re has had any experience with them. I located PPA https://launchpad.net/~fingerprint/+arc ... rprint-gui and while this installs fine, I can't seem to get it to full function. It scans the finger and gets an "OK" on the first time around, but then it never seems to complete all of the scans.
Any help is much appreciated.

I'm sorry that I can't answer your question, but I tried to get a fingerprint scanner working on a Dell E6430, and didn't have any success at all.
