Re: MX-17.1-RC1 Release Candidate Feedback
So, the 4.15 64 bit kernel is patched with all the new gcc retpoline compile fixes?
An the antiX site, it lists the fully patched as 4.15.5. What is the difference? I guess I don't follow the kernel numbering scheme too closely.

Looks pretty darned good so far.
One minor item: when the Welcome screen comes up, if I click an icon/link the screen disappears for a second--and then pops back up.

No problems installation wise.
How to update now?
Btw, Cairo-dock is no longer is software repo.?
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cairo-dock-team/ppa doesn't work for me either.

Panel missing. There is only the standard XFCE wallpaper. Can't get into settings no matter what I clicked on. The only thing that seemed to work is log out and opening the terminal. System info not available doesn't work in MX-17.1. I will post my system info from MX-17 instead.

Found out i didn't wait long enough for software manager to finish its update prior to searching for Cairo-dock.
Everything is runnin' just fine now.
