QupZilla has all standard functions you expect from a web browser. It includes bookmarks, history
(both also in sidebar) and tabs. Above that, you can manage RSS feeds with an included RSS reader,
block ads with a builtin AdBlock plugin, block Flash content with Click2Flash and edit the local CA
Certificates database with an SSL Manager.

QupZilla's main aim is to be a very fast and very stable QtWebKit browser available to everyone.

Yes, Qupzilla 1.8.9 is quite old now. 64-bit users of MX 16 can use the AppImage of Qupzilla 2.1.2, which has much better HTML 5 support, but 32-bit users are not so lucky. We do have a 32 and 64-bit builds of 2.1.2 in the MX 17 repos, and will soon have a public beta of MX 17 out. It is not practical at this time to build 2.1.2 natively on the Jessie base.

Pale Moon and SeaMonkey are some other lighter browsers for MX 16 that may have better support.
