I has MX-17.1 installed and all needed repos enabled in Synaptic settings (all repos index updated yesterday)
But there are no any packages shown from "test" repo (repo itself not shown in the origins list)
For example, currently there is Poedit 2.2
But it not described in Synaptic!

You didn't add it correctly, you need to add "test" not "stretch" in distribution. Also, we don't recommend enabling test repo in Synaptic(edit: strike that, that's incorrect) In any case in MX PackageInstaller we enabled it only before installing the package and then disable it, test repo is meant only for testing packages not for enabling it and doing a general upgrade from it, that's a sure way to bork your system.

Yes, and I has no changes here -- packages from "test" repo not visible

So, what is wrong in my Synaptic repo settings?Adrian wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 1:28 pm You didn't add it correctly, you need to add "test" not "stretch" in distribution. P.S.: I know what is "test" repo and I use it for testing.

here's the setting I have here, which should be the same as yours. I guess check to see if your section is correct (I can't see it in your screenshots).

Yes, I have same settings, but still can't see packages from "test" repodolphin_oracle wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 2:08 pm here's the setting I have here, which should be the same as yours. I guess check to see if your section is correct (I can't see it in your screenshots).
UPD: I just tried reload repos indexes and seems like now it finally updated & now I can see packages from "test" repo...
... BUT why it shown as "mx/main" repo? Is not it should be in "mx/testrepo" or "mx/test"?
P.P.S: Why yesterday it didn't work as expected? Can't understand...

Re: MX-17.1: packages from "test" repo not shown in Synaptic
I just checked on my MX-16 install and it's also not showing 'mx/test' or 'mx/testrepo' in the Origin section.
Packages in the testrepo do showup though with the apt-cache policy command, such as:
Also, I see that Synaptic is showing a 'mx/universe' Origin. I don't know where that came from (it's also shown in one of app4soft's images).
Packages in the testrepo do showup though with the apt-cache policy command, such as:
Code: Select all
$ apt-cache policy aafm
aafm:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.6.2-2mx15+1
Version table:
0.6.2-2mx15+1 0
500 http://mxrepo.com/mx/testrepo/ mx15/test amd64 Packages
Also, I see that Synaptic is showing a 'mx/universe' Origin. I don't know where that came from (it's also shown in one of app4soft's images).
Re: MX-17.1: packages from "test" repo not shown in Synaptic
Happy to know that not only me affected.
If so, then this look like a bug!
