MX-snapshot and grub-themes-mx package

Post by dphn » Fri Jan 04, 2019 2:27 am

Hi Adrian,

have seen, that MX-snapshot exclusion list deletes everything from /boot/grub folder. That's right, but MX provides a new package 'grub-themes-mx'. The package installs grub-themes correctly to /boot/grub/themes. The themes folder must be included in the snapshot or you have a new iso with the installed package but without the necessary files for that. ;)

At the moment you must the package reinstall on snapshots.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install grub-themes-mx --reinstall
for those with an eye for the finer details...
