[Solved] Cannot reinstall conky-all

#1 Post by catalinux »

I had a problem with conky: when I clicked on the desktop the conky would dissapear, so I thought that by reinstalling all the conky packages I could fix it. I reinstalled conky-manager conky-toggle-mx and mx-conky succesfuly but I couldn't install conky-all. What could be the problem? is there an issue with the servers or something?

debian is updating today, so make sure do refresh your sources before attempting any updates.

conky-all reinstalled fine here, so post the output from

Code: Select all

apt-get install conky-all
if you have problems.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

Use mx-repo-manager to change the Debian mirror (or edit by hand and use something like deb.debian.org instead of ftp.ro.debian.org (deb.debian.org is an automatic redirector).

I am not so familiar with Linux so I just hit „select the fastest Debian repo” and it worked. Now I am on http://ftp.lug.ro/ and it also updated about 30 other stuff with it. Thanks! Will try this on my other older laptop since I've got some broken repos that are no longer active.

However the issue with conky didn't solve. Maybe I'll open another thread later on.
