Doesn't MX compile their own kernel versions?
If so then "upstream" is kernel.org rather than Debian.

I have the upgrade from a few days ago with a full install and notice no issues. However, I tried both the 5. antix and Liquorix kernels and could not maintain wireless stability with either. Not sure if related but I put it out there just in case it helps. Also this is a ~week old fresh install MX18.3.

If you have Nvidia graphics, also be cautious.
