Some German translations are too long

#1 Post by BitJam »

Some of the German translations in live-text-menus are needlessly way too long. We only have about 75 characters available before strings start to wrap on many systems. We need to sacrifice precision for brevity here. Translators for other languages may want to see if they can keep their strings here down to about 75 characters as well.

Thanks!

The link is 404 for me; but, this works:
1. https://www.transifex.com/signin/
2. [ Translate ]
3. Select a language
4. All resources (or some such in English)

And, the original link works fine, once I'm logged in. :)

BitJam, can you give me access to the German section? It is NOT my native language, but I might be able to shorten the already given ones to normal proportions.
