The new string is "Set Font Size". We want to make it very easy for users to scale the size of all the fonts in X. They can already do this using a live boot parameter but it usually involves a guess so we wanted to make it easier for people to fine-tune (or do it at all if they missed setting it in the bootloader).
For most older machines this isn't an issue but for newer machines, especially laptops with QuadHD displays, the default font size can be almost unusable.
