Please donate screenshots on Wikimedia Commons so that they can be used on sister websites like Wikipedia or MX Linux Users DE Wiki.

repeating a project suggestion I presented a while back:

To raise (and maintain) awareness of MX, from the pool of user-contributed background images
(which were previously available via a set of gallery pages linked to MX Linux homepage)
post one or two per week to the opendesktop.org site https://www.opendesktop.org/browse/cat/295/

Weekly, versus all in a batch, because the default display order is SortBy latest

They have also a Distros Section there which is at https://www.opendesktop.org/browse/cat/404/ord/latest/. I miss MX Linux there, so please give your best. ;-)

I'm registered, logged in but haven't found an upload button or dialog?

Can you offer some guidance?
Thanks.

In the left hand column you should find an upload link.

I logged in after trying plenty of usernames, it seems even obscure ones are taken.LOL

But when I tried to upload my screenshot it asked many questions, to which I have no idea of how to answer, regarding copyright, who created the file etc..
So I failed.

I think it's really not that hard to upload a image there but they have to be sure that they may provide it to the public. Therefore they have have to ask and I always say that I am thecopyrightholder cause I made the screenshot myself.

So I please you again and wish to encourage you to upload your screenshots.

We, on this way, can include them in our wiki and make more and better publicity for MX Linux.
