Thanks, xali. Here's my latest theme experiment. Colour scheme of this theme is inspired by my running shoe :p

Tweaking the theme. Changed clock color to match but unable to change global menu or data total from white. Using a total of seven panels for this look.

Hi there,

my 14"laptop is on an old love : #ACE12D

Image
  • DE : Xfce, file manager : PCManFM
  • Theme : home made Dr0ne2ACID [GTK2/3] built with Oomox, modified with Geany. WIP
  • Icons : DarK (heir of monotone icons pack) created by sixsixfive - thank you asqwerth ;)) version #ACE12D
  • Terminal font : clean 10 | Theme font : snap 8 | both fonts by Alec Zapka > http://artwizaleczapka.sourceforge.net/ (a large pack of fixed-width fonts is available there, do not forget to read the README page for optimal installation)
  • Wallpaper : My Little Blocks, by wlourf, colorized to fit with #ACE12D. Let's name this variation My Little Spinach Blocks.
  • Conky : MX-GeekyTower, titles font : Monoton by Vernon Adams, text font : snap
PS : MX-17.1_x64.iso's torrent is alive and this makes me happy :

> Desktop : AMD 64 bits (unknowned monocore model :P looking for an AM2+ 4cores Phenom) | RAM 4Go DDR2 | MX@daily updates, sudo apt dist-upgrade
> Laptop x2 : WIP obsolescence and "old" batteries prices have killed my project

Most ergonomic and elegant theme is MX Linux 17.1 default theme. Love greybird--mx-linux-greybird theme, timeless. Keep up the good work!

Very nice.

I like the Monoton and snap fonts. Looks good in the conky.

I have never been able to get the terminal to open like that with that MX Linux artwork. I was only able to get that artwork to show after I opened the terminal and run something which I forgot what but never looks like that automatically. Does your terminal look like that every time you open it and if yes, how do you do it?
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.
