initial boot from USB successful. Initial tests on basic configurations and common software, (Firefox, Yakuake and the like) with no problems. While I configure appearance heavily I do not install exotic software. Any installs are well known alternatives to the existing functional pre-installed software and additional widgets. I will report on any problems with these installations.

First issue:
After downloading and installing an alternate wallpaper using system settings, No application would start. The any app would flash in the task manager and not start. I do not know if it was related to the wallpaper install. Obviously needs a confirmation by others. The only other changes made beforehand were font and panel sizes.

I could not duplicate the problem I posted. The downloaded wallpaper was not installed after a reboot, so apparently some glitch occurred during the remaster.

been waiting on this ..... thanks

as rich said.... the default wallpaper disappeared after booting but it was still present in the backgrounds folder and linked via the 'configured desktop and wallpaper' thingy

been playing with it for a few hours now .... installed my favorite apps and added the usual docks and stuff

i am really liking it so far and will probably just continue using it as my daily system

oh .... and as a surprising bonus ..... the rtl8821ce driver is finally included as default (in the kernel?) .... first time i haven't had to plug into the ethernet to install that driver on any distro

Minimize, maximize and close buttons on Firefox with KDE default theme on, are invisible.

More visible (though not perfect) on other themes.

Here is grey theme with icons more visible:

MX default theme looks good with Breeze Dark though:

this one and the fluxbox iso should have the rtl88** driver package installed by default. All beta2 isos will also have it.

I would agree that those buttons on unfocused windows are very difficult to see.
