Desktop files not displaying on desktop
After a problem with xfburn yesterday the shortcuts for my desktop files are not displaying on the desktop. How do I resolve this please?

If you right-click on the desktop and choose Desktop Settings then click the Icons tab, what is selected for Icon Type?

There is no response to right clicking the desktop. Also tried using the desktop setting but although all the icons are selected none are displayed.

Re: Desktop files not displaying on desktop
ok, then xfdesktop crashed, and due to the saved session feature its not restarting.
1. run "xfdesktop --reload" from the terminal as a regular user
2. logout and login.
