When in doubt always provide quick system information (from the menu) with hardware related help requests.

Open the menu, type

printer

in the search box up top, and then click

print settings

in the screen that pops up, right click on your printer and check if it has a checkmark next to enabled.

If it does not, make sure to remove the processing jobs first, otherwise as soon as you hit enable all those things will get printed ;)

Well I have learned something. I never knew that was in the menu. I have always just kept localhost bookmarked.

In my experience the HP printers won't print using the stock MX Linux image viewer. Try installing a different image viewer like Mirage or some other one that is not the stock MX Linux image viewer. Once it prints remove the stock MX Linux viewer.
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

The above video shows a simple way to set up HP printers.

I am wondering if this could be added to MX because it allows newbies who have no terminal knowledge to easily set up their printers.

If it was added to the whisker menu as something like "HP Printer Setup" it would be easily found.
