It is! I've been maxed out elsewhere so I kept my first post short. I remember a few short years ago we were hoping to get into the top 20. We've come a long way.

For me, it's an astonishing collection of diverse talents focused on a common vision.

Congratulations to the MX Linux developers.
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

I know DW is DW and all, but that's still pretty cool.

Unless you change the ranking to the last 12 months where MX is number 4, behind Elementary, Mint and Manjaro! Or if you select average rating MX is number 21!

DistroWatch uses the 6 month window for its popularity ranking.turtlebay777 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 10:44 pm Unless you change the ranking to the last 12 months where MX is number 4, behind Elementary, Mint and Manjaro! Or if you select average rating MX is number 21!

Congratulations!
I watched 30 minutes of this and I was saddened:

MX Linux is so far ahead of everyone else where it matters: Reliability, functionality and polish (very few bugs) and then they complain about log out button, Snaps, missing AppImage daemon... I guess it was hard to find real things to complain about.
I think ordinary Linux users see the strengths more clearly than a "Linux panel". I actually hope MX Linux doesn't reach the number one spot. It's better to fly under the radar and avoid most of the jealousy, crazy remarks and being pulled in every possible direction.
