@Shay2, I'm not certain but there may be a bug in the installer if you pick the user name "demo". It's possible this was fixed a while ago. Or it may just be a figment of my imagination.

So it's not scalable. I don't know what's a better solution, an SVG icon or pngs in a range of sizes.
semi-related - mx-tweak now has a function for allowing longer file names on the desktop (no ellipses).
Yes, I was testing that, but they still get truncated if the icon is too small, so that's why the scaling up.

Not the name I used. Was sure surprised to see it pop up whenever I boot up or reboot.

Installer does some string replacements when it renames demo to whatever name the users chooses, I wonder if it fails for blueman-services.

@shay2, in your home directory try running this command and see if anything interesting shows up:

Code: Select all

grep demo $(find . -type f)
My guess is something got configured when you were running live, the configuration hard coded "/home/demo" in a file and now it is giving you trouble. The above command might point us to the configuration file.

Opps. I wasn't expecting spaces in file names. That's why there are so many error messages. This command should work better:

Code: Select all

 find . -type f -print0 | xargs -0 grep demo
Coming at it from the other direction, did you ever try to connect a bluetooth device?
