Not the file, the tweet. As you on Twitter you cannot edit your tweets you need to delete them and re-tweet, didn't imagine you'd be so efficient in re-tweeting :)

64bit kernel has been updated to 4.14 (patched for Meltdown)
Used it on a newly minted Easy2Boot USB-3 Mushkin Atom flush-fit thumb drive to save my new "ghosted" Win7 SSD install that I bought for my backup Lenovo x131e Thinkpad. I really DID NOT want to do a generic Win7 install, and chase down all the Lenovo drivers and crap. Installed MX17_January onto 45GB of unallocated space, and voilla, Grub recognized and apparently repaired the MBR. If any of that makes sense! Thank You!

As has been stated previously in another thread,
NO. A "point" release in March will take its place, e.g 17.1.

Wait a couple of days, it should be out soon. It comes with new kernels too (patched for Meltdown and Spectre).

Snapshots for May are up. Nothing special, about 30 packages were updated, among them a Firefox update 59->60, and an installer bugfix for installing MX Linux on ESP.
