Re: MX Documentation
Where is it? Whether by happen-stance or design, there doesn't seem to be a link to the documentation anywhere in the Community Forum.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
Aspire V5-571; CPU Intel I3; 500 GB SSD; Intel 2nd Gen Graphics; 8 GB Ram
Aspire XC-866; i3-9100; UHD 630; 8 GB ram; 1TB HDD
In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Re: MX Documentation
It's part of MX-14, right? Find it either on the MX website or on a live or installed session.

Re: MX Documentation
Tips and Tricks - Keystrokes table still shows Alt+F5 for the Screenshot program rather than the 'Print Scrn' it was changed to.
GRUB page - Repair section has a typo. Sixth bullet point says MRB, should be MBR.
Synaptic - Introduction mentions DVD, rather than CD.
In the Browser section, might it be worth mentioning the method of enabling automatic operation of Flash? Also, should there be mention of the fact that the first time Flash is encountered, the browser crashes? Or should that be in the release notes under Known Issues?

Re: MX Documentation
I needed to create this thread so I could get the link. I have a new set of docs that I will upload tonight once I am back. Week lock the thread until then, thanks.

I don't think still happens, does it?Also, should there be mention of the fact that the first time Flash is encountered, the browser crashes? Or should that be in the release notes under Known Issues?

Re: MX Documentation
I did a fresh install on the DELL (in sig) yesterday; YouTube crashed on first run in QupZilla.Jerry3904 wrote:I don't think still happens, does it?Also, should there be mention of the fact that the first time Flash is encountered, the browser crashes? To double-check, I just booted the DELL live from USB, and it didn't crash. I then re-installed, and it didn't crash!
On the other hand, I tried the box in sig live, and it crashed QupZilla the first time I ran Flash. I then installed, and it didn't crash.
This has mimicked my recent experience. Whatever is causing the failure appears to be intermittent.
Perhaps on that basis it's not worth mentioning anywhere?

Re: MX Documentation
We'll put it in the Tracker as an issue, meaning from upstream.

Re: MX Documentation
Qup crashes are already in there. Flash can be added to that as a possible contributor.Jerry3904 wrote:We'll put it in the Tracker as an issue, meaning from upstream.
