Change Thunar Colours

#1 Post by Tyro65 »

Somehow, on MX-17, I changed Thunar's text from white to black and the background from black to white, and I changed desktop icons to open with a mouse double-click. I'm trying to make these changes again in MX-16 on another computer, but I don't remember how I did it. Please help.

Choose a dark theme in MX Tweak or Settings>Appearance. And for mouse clicks, MX Tweak, the Other tab.

You can change the first from MX-Tools -> Default Look and selecting MX 16 Default dark theme, the second from Setting -> Desktop -> Icons
MX-16 doesn't have MX-Tweak where you probably set these on MX-17 beta

thunar single clicks can be configured in the thunar preferences as well.

The first post says MX 17, and that he somehow changed it to a light theme...which is the default anyway, so I can't see how any change was necessary. Perhaps he likes a light theme, and is trying to change MX 16's default dark theme to light? (16.1 shipped with a light theme, 16 dark)

After making the changes and doing an upgrade, look at what I ended up with. I love it!

Ha. So it is. I'm a bit baffled how that happened with an MX-16 update.
