Install mx linux on a mac mini 2014 ? [Solved]

Hello does anyone know of an easy way of installing mx linux on a mc mini 2014 please?
I did manage it once but I had no network.

This message is referring to your spinning rust HDD's SMART data which is stored in the drives firmware. Your drive has fault codes referring to surface imperfections and/or platter damages. Our installer checks for potentially damaged drives that are selected for installation. If the drives SMART data has markers showing faults that could lead to failure, the message you saw is provided to warn of the increased possibility of either a failed install, or potential data loss.

If it were me, I'd be quick smart tossing that old spinning rust drive out and replacing it with a fast SSD, nobody ever regretted the immense speed improvements achieved with SSD

As for your network, sometimes it is necessary to get the exact fault from the boot logs, then download the required firmware blobs and have them available for insertion prior to installation. Anything you add while running live prior to installation will be carried into the installed product.

You can find the errors by booting live, firing up a terminal and "grepping" the content out of dmesg. The following will save all lines from dmesg that contain the string "error" into a text file in the demo users home.

Better still, if you have a fully featured Live USB created with MX Live Usb Maker, change the command to save it directly to the flash drives provisioned "Live-usb-storage" folder which is retained after ending the Live Session and shutting down the machine. You can then view it directly on the flash drive by just plugging it into another Linux machine and browsing its contents, I promised you'll find it really easily.
