MokListRT: Out of Resources **SOLVED**

I am trying to install MX 18.2 on my laptop but when I try to boot the LiveUSB in UEFI mode MokListRT: Out of Resources is displayed at the top of the screen along with color pixels.

Quick info output:

Please disable secure boot mode.

I can find no reference to secure boot in the bios
Also the previous distro on this laptop was installed and running in UEFI

Hmm, looks like this firmware can only boot in UEFI through selecting the grubx64.efi directly (as described in the link you provided). So after Pressing F12 to see the boot menu , and choosing UEFI you might find an option to select to boot from file efi-file. If so navigate to the USB-stick and select /EFI/BOOT/grubx64.efi

Success!

I went back into bios and studied a while (it's a little confusing) ;)
Found and set it to grubx64.efi Installed and fully updated MX 18.2 UEFI running on this laptop

Thanks for your help fehlix
