I want to create a live usb with all-persistence on an 8gig stick and I do not know what to do after
getting to this:- 1. Should I leave the System partition size as it is, increase it, or tick the "Full device" box?
2. Presumably I should tick both Persistence boxes, but do I need to increase their sizes?
Edit: This is a "personal" snapshot.

Re: MX15 Create live usb options.
1. You should use the whole stick ie tick "Full device"
2. Use both persistence and yes you need to change the sizes (more so for MX than antiX).
How much RAM does the box have? I ask since live persistence isn't just down to the size of the usb device, but also down to how much RAM the box has.
What do you want to do with the live persistent usb device? Just add a few apps here and there or keep it 'rolling' with updates?

antiX with runit - lean and mean.

Re: MX15 Create live usb options.
Thanks for the quick response, Anti !
The box generating the snapshot and live-usb has 4G of RAM but I want to use the usb on a box with
only 2G.
I want to keep it rolling with updates if possible.
I need to leave the forum now but will come back tomorrow to see if you give me any further advice.

Re: MX15 Create live usb options.
I decided to use M16 to create the live-usb from the same .iso. The M16 GUI is much simpler IMO and it has made a usb which works OK.
Will mark this topic solved.
