Scary screen!

#1 Post by chrispop99 »

A Facebook group member posted details of eDex-UI, a full-screen terminal emulator with system monitoring. How funny would it be to set up a machine for a newbie that booted to this!

If you want to have a try, it's available as an app-image:

Nice! I think it would be scarier if you started to see nuke codes being entered into the terminal section

I would love to get mine to play the screen display of the WOPR from the movie War Games when it was "rehearsing" the different nuclear strike scenarios!

Oh how cool! I wish someone would turn it into the UI for an OS running on a Pi or NUC connected to a touchscreen. That would be a fun toy.

It would be even cooler if instead of or in addition to showing the time it ran a countdown timer.
