OK, the ever capable Peregrine has posted that on mepiscommunity.org with a permanent link

Now I can put that in the Manual references.

BTW: man, would it be nice to have a series of short KDE vids like this! Anybody interested in doing some? What is he using for software? And what format?

What is he using for software? And what format?

It doesn't matter which software he is using, recordmydesktop is installed by default in Mepis 11.0 so install gtk-recordmydesktop and use that.
Formats, recordmydesktop makes a ogv file, that needs converting to MP4 for you tube.
Zalman Z11 Plus ATX PC Tower, AMD FX 8350 Black Edition Vishera, 8 Core 4.4 GHz, Kingston HyperX FURY Red 16GB, Nvidia GT740 Graphics, Pioneer BDR-209EBK Writer, 2 x Seagate 1TB SSHD SATA Hybrid Hard Drives. ASUS VS278Q 27 inch HD Monitor
