Hi there,

My Emerald crashes from to to time. I just have to re-run

Code: Select all

emerald --replace
in a terminal window to bring it back so it's not really a big deal (and it's not that often). But if someone has an idea to get rid of that, I'd be interested. I have no other pb with compiz/emerald to report yet.

I've just reached a situation I can reproduce using ALT-TAB to invoke window switch selector.

When emeral window decorator is down (window's decoration is gone):
  1. run emerald in a termnal window to bring it back

    Code: Select all

    emerald --replace &
  2. keep the same terminal window open to see emeral error output
  3. press ALT-TAB to swtich windows
    • emerald crashes again
    • error message in terminal window is:

      Code: Select all

      emerald: ../../../../src/cairo-surface.c :953 : cairo_surface_destroy:  assertion « CAIRO_REFERENCE_COUNT_HAS_REFERENCE (&surface->ref_count) » as failed
