I have been trying since yesterday to get the latest Firefox, but the repo has been down and is still down.

The latest firefox is in the main testrepo, not the restricted testrepo (change the 'mepis12cr' to 'mepis11cr' for Mepis 11)
deb http://main.mepis-deb.org/mepiscr/testrepo/ mepis12cr test
Btw the restricted repos have been down for a long time now
(about a year and a half).

I meant to choose the test repo, but choose the wrong one last night.

Normal kind of thing to have happen. I've totally removed the restricted repositories as Stevo posted that they weren't needed as much as they used to be. (Besides being hard to find a host for them.)
