https://mxlinux.org/release-cycle

Section 1.4 of the Users Manual covers the more general question of support length.

Point release - That should be kernel update, shouldn't it?
There's also some code bits appearing on the bottom of my tab view.
.

MX Linux Rocks, in America, in Europa, in Australien, einfach ÜBERALL. :linuxlove:

Stevo wrote: Sun May 27, 2018 4:14 pm As you can see from the current 17.1 version, we may also put out an point update any time we decide it's warranted. For example, if xfce 4.14. was released in July, and testing proved that it was stable, we would put out a point release incorporating the new xfce, along with a guide to migration for present MX 17 users if that proves necessary (mostly just artwork and default app changes).
Can the Xfce 4.14 packages be put in a separate repo that is available to all but not forced on existing MX 17 users?
My experience from MATE going to GTK 3 is that it is a HUGE change. It actually killed MATE for me.

I doubt it's going to come with mx17-stretch, because according to the devs, they'll wait until it's in the actual debian repos.
