New to MX

#1 Post by groovyj »

Hello everyone. I'm excited about my move to MX from Ubuntu-based distros, and I wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Call me GroovyJ. I've landed on MX after testing a few different distros in VMs. I like that everything just works right out of the box, but without all the bloat of Ubuntu and Ubuntu forks. I'm looking forward to being in the forum from time to time. :)

Welcome to the world of MX. Please take some time to at least skim over the user manual, and take heed of your avatar: no PPAs, and you should do well.
Please read the Forum Rules, How To Ask For Help, How to Break Your System and Don't Break Debian. Always include your full Quick System Info (QSI) with each and every new help request.
