Yup.. I really doubt they can save much.. :( Part of the structure just fell...

Looked like some scaffolding was around the spire, was this some kind of construction caused fire?

We don't know as of yet what the cause is. The scaffolding has been there for a while since work was being done on it. Likely restoration work.

The worst is we don't even know if people were inside.. :( It was a popular location, the weather was nice.. so... yeah..

Restoration work, but basically not with enough precautions. It's sad.

The building was already in poor shape, with cracks in the upper parts. I only hope the pompiers can save the rose window perhaps, since the fire started in the East end.
