#1 Post by wulf »

Just came across this > https://github.com/corrad1nho/qomui
It has a nice GUI and seems to be getting favourable reviews from users on the Air vpn forum > https://airvpn.org/topic/26327-alternat ... -gnulinux/

They have a deb file...did you try a test install? It also might need you to be running with systemd--I can't be sure from their instructions.

No, I haven't installed it Stevo. I'm not running with systemd at present. I thought I'd just bring it to the attention of those folk on the forum who like to experiment with new stuff.

I tried the deb. There is a dependency error. I do not recall what is missing as I deleted the deb immediately.

Hi, I'm the developer of Qomui.
I tried the deb. There is a dependency error. I do not recall what is missing as I deleted the deb immediately.
This has been amended with the latest release (v0.7.0). There shouldn't be any dependency errors with this version. Bypass mode might not work on older versions of iptables (>1.6), though.

Systemd is not required for Qomui - it's just supported as an easy means to manage a background service.

Thank you. I did get it installed and will evaluate.
