Here is my newly found freedom :)

#1 Post by Eadwine Rose »

Not many know this or you must have paid attention to my avatar last month.. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, hypermobility type. https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/what-is-eds/

Means I am slowly getting more and more impaired body wise. I have silver splints, crutches, and just an hour ago I got my first mobility scooter. I am very happy with this thing alright as it gives me a lot of freedom :)

Just wanted to share a pic of the thing and share my happy :)

This is not Gentoo!

Eadwine - just don't let that scooter tramp roky persuade you to do wheelies.

Thanks guys!! Yep you are not alone anymore rokytnji.1! Hehe.. I really like it. It is a loaner, basically means I can use it for as long as I need it and I only pay a small monthly fee for it. It is one of those things that is available for those with disabilities. I was lucky to get a completely new one :)

I cannot do wheelies, there are anti wheelie wheels on the thing. Hahaha

First destination was my shed ;) Monday afternoon my therapist is coming by and we'll be practicing :crossfingers:
