Btw what the headphones you use?Is good one? This happened to me as well.
I personally think, its depends on the headphones you use and the brand on the line
I'm an expert on headphones

Kulmbacher : rain? what is that? Haven't seen any in.. weeks?

I swear by Sennheiser for non computer audio (wireless, for the tv), but others work as well. It depends on how you connect things..I mean: if I connect my computer headphones to the headphones port in the back I am like "ehwa?" can barely hear anything, if I plug the thing into the speaker's plug in the front of my speaker set the sound gets amplified by the speakers first, and that is enough. :)

Here is a little EDS zebra added to my scooter. Most definitely if someone who also has EDS sees this scooter they will KNOW the owner of this scooter has EDS. It is that universal. I am going to add something floral like to add some cheerful colors :) Yes zebra is positioned a little low, but when I add the other touches and it is high up it'll get smothered.

Thanks Jim! Tomorrow will be my furthest trip yet. I did 30kms today, and of the 8 lights 7 stayed on. That is amazing, this thing's got the power alright.

So.. tomorrow I am venturing on a trip that is roughly 20kms one way. Of course I can always change my mind, TomTom is going with just in case I get lost (set it to bike so I don't find myself on the highway hahaha ;) ), and we'll see. Fingers crossed!

You'll never know how inspiring and uplifting this thread is.
Jim205 mentioned admiration, and he's absolutely correct.

Try not to run the battery completely flat too often, it does reduce its overall life span. Best to put it back on charge after every use.
Enjoy your travels.

And if anyone is wondering about the zebra : https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/why-the-zebra/

I charge the batteries every night. You cannot charge these batteries in between for just a bit, people tell me that.. "You can go on a drive, have a drink someplace and put it in the charger".. ehhhmm nope!! It is very bad to do that and will damage them. The charger needs to complete its cycle. So I simply plug it in in the evening when I no longer need to take it :)

At least about the charging itself the booklet is very clear. Fun thing is that people who don't have this scooter tell that charge on the fly story, and people who actually OWN it will go NOOOOO when someone tells them this hahaha. It could very well be that other models can handle this, this one definitely cannot. Even the mechanic who dropped by a few days ago (had a little issue) pressed the issue again. And he was actually stressed out about it. Gee, DON'T WORRY MAN!! hahahah.

I am still trying to find out how far one full charge will go ;) There are 8 lights total; 1 red, 2 orange and 5 green (just had to check, this is correct hahah). You better be home in the orange at the latest as it is NOT good to get it in the red. They will go out one by one, starting from the far most green back to the red. So far I have not been able to get even two of the green lights to permanently go out yet, not even with the 30 km (18.6 miles) trip I made yesterday. One light, yes, but the second one only goes out for a bit when I accelerate or brake. As soon as I am on a cruise speed again it comes back on and stays on.

I wager this scooter's radius is.. quite large. *nods solemnly, respect*

Thanks for the link inclusion by the way :)

I have changed my mind and will go on a shorter trip instead to a city half way there (still about 45-50 minutes on max speed), and cruise around the shopping center a bit. I am testing the TomTom on the bike setting, see what it does.

Had to holler yesterday, we have these speed indicators on the side of the roads. Smiley for perfect/bad, and then shows the speed. So I drive by.. smiley.. and then the speed 18 kph (just over 11 mph)! I know, I am not speeding! Hahahaha.

First time I drove the scooter it did 16 max (just under 10), so it is increasing, which IS to be expected. The batteries only reach their full potential after using them and charging regularly.
