Is it possible to have "Cheese" available for install in MX Linux?
https://github.com/GNOME/cheese
I used "Cheese" before (in Lubuntu) and liked it a lot. I'm going need it in a month.
If there's a similar application for MX Linux, I could do that. I don't need a lot of features. Just an ability to "snap" pictures from a USB attached webcam. Nothing more than that.

Re: "Cheese" webcam software [SOLVED]
Thanks! I searched "cheese" from the default tab in MX Package Installer. I didn't realize I was looking at subset of what's available (popular applications), and needed to search the next tab (stable repro).dolphin_oracle wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 11:27 am cheese is in the repositories already. you can also use guvcview
Thanks also for the alternative suggestion. I'll give that a try too.
