LIDE 120 Scanner antiX 17.4.1 not happening..

#1 Post by KoO »

I installed 17.4.1 on my main yesterday twice as the repo version of nvidia driver would not install properly with 5.2.8 kernel something with the config file. But the sgfxi version works just fine. Help is not required [Solved]

The main thing is my scanner is not being picked up by simple-scan same prob with MX18 but works fine in Debian10. Any fixes for this with non-systemd versions of linux..

Just glad I swapped my Debian10 ssd and installed antiX on a spare ssd drive. Not really I have Debian10 on both my laptops..

I changed the blacklist made no difference antiX lsusb = Bus 003 Device 007: ID 04a9:190e Canon, Inc. CanoScan LiDE 120

Also their is no driver avaliable on Cannon for linux.

Thanks

usb to phone or camera in thunar is not working also, same in mx18 looks like systemd to the rescue. Both work fine in Debian 10

Thanks anyways
