Yes, the screen goes blank after the set time, but that does not suspend the system too. How can I get to the Power Manager? I have not found it in any of the categories of the Control Center.

I figured this out. In the MENU, clicking on Logout gives 5 options, including Suspend, whiich is the one I was looking for. So, this, in combination with screen blanking, is sufficient for my power saving actions.
