[SOLVED] antiX 17.3-64bit-full keyboard choice

#1 Post by Klaas Vaak »

During installation today I added a 2nd keyboard layout, UK, to the default US layout. How can I make the UK layout default?

in the fskbsettings app, move the UK keyboard to up in the list, which will make it default on next boot.

How do I get to that app? I can't find in the Whisker menu.

Whisker menu? antiX does not have one.

Sorry, just my way of referring to the main menu that is displayed by clicking on the button called MENU in the bottom left of the screen.

I thought this issue was solved, but it is not. I did move the UK keyboard to the list, but after shutting down my computer and booting up again, it still shows the US keyboard. Double clicking on it toggles it to the UK one, but that should not be necessary.

The flag is US, but the keyboard is actually GB(UK).
Press any key on the keyboard and the flag should change to the GB one.
It is a bug in the 'flag' app.

If you do not use/need the US keyboard, simply remove it via the app you used above.
