I will keep MX for now, sometime later (probably when we get antiX 18) I will try again with antiX. If for nothing else, for learning lesson.

I'm surprised how well this worked out, 99$ Black Friday slow chromebook turned into nice MX machine ;-)

Well, antiX would be faster, would work better and I would have more hdd space, so I could use snapshot.
Another problem is, new beta MX 18 is causing exactly the same error, it is not booting just like all 17.x antiX versions.
Which means if I can't solve this problem of not being able to boot live media, I will not be able to put on any further newer version on it any more.

Since I would really like to get antiX on it, I started thread on antiX forum:
