http://repo.antixlinux.com/ public key is not available

#1 Post by 4joeyirosh1 »

Hi!I am running Debian 9.5 Stretch 64 bit.

I tried adding deb http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch stretch main to /etc/apt/sources.list but when I ran apt-get update I got message below

W: GPG error: http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch stretch InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY DB36CDF3452F0C20
W: The repository 'http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch stretch InRelease' is not signed.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Where can I get the signing keys for this?

After further research I ran the command below as root

Code: Select all

apt-get update && apt-get install antix-archive-keyring
and now apt-get update runs flawlessly
