Hey you got your Ryzen machine going !
Is it fast?
INXI lists your board as a laptop motherboard, is that an error ?
I thought sound drivers would be a problem, that's why I am waiting to buy the new hardware.
It looks like the antiX 4.10.5 kernel is new enough to have all the drivers????
INXI shows eth0 as down...can you get the network connected?
Is your Samsung SSD an M2 or SATA corm factor?
I m still looking for an MX iteration (or I can unpdate a kernel to liquorix or antiX) , but this is an encouraging step for me to see.
Yes, I have to refresh a lot of anitX knowledge also, somethings are different. I still don't have the network shares available with connectshares.
In MX, I supply the MSHOME workgroup name during the install, and the shares are there in the filemanager, accessible after I supply credentials.
I may try and load samba, but I have a feeling there is some auto configuration taking place behind the scenes on MX that make it work easily.
The Ryzen 5 1500X Desktop system seems slower to boot than I thought it would be with the SSD, but it certainly is far quicker than the AMD C-60 I have been using for the last six months. That system is now running MX-16.1 as a Torrent seeder...

Yes it is a desktop, being miss classified as a laptop.
Understand Pulse audio is in testing repository, system D free... I have alsa sound, see sound solution suggested above, lacks the much louder volume with my head phones than the AMD C-60 with pulse audio.... will try that next...

Yes, I did not know how to use CENI, thanks to the help in this thread network is up and unbelievably Quick. I am on Cox here in the states running 187 Mbps down 11Mbps up - Cox throttles the UP. Paying $90 per month Family in Japan is paying $36 a month for 100Mbps down and up
Samsung SSD is SATA form factor
Also if you notice INXI is listing 8 cores, and I only have 4 cores on the Ryzen 5 1500X.
I have installed testing this time around, after saving the few files I created.
